The Guifengshan Industrial Park has two sets of ductile shear systems in the northeast and northwest directions, among which the northeast ductile shear zone is the Macheng Tuanfeng ductile shear zone, which has obvious zoning characteristics. From west to east, it can be roughly divided into a fractured fabric belt, an A-type fold belt, a S-C fabric belt, and a fragmented patch fabric belt. The northwest trending ductile shear zone, also known as the Lujiahe ductile 1 shear zone, is mainly composed of primary mylonite and rigid gneiss, with a large number of rootless folds, shear plastic flow folds, and various S-C fabrics developed within the zone. Local fragments and scanning lineages can be seen, and the shear folds are mainly sharp edged oblique folds, with various types and shapes.

Huanggang Dabie Mountain World Geopark is located in the northeast of Hubei Province, at the southern foot of Dabie Mountain, on the north bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, with a planned area of 409.22 square kilometers. It is divided from west to east into Tiantai Mountain Park and Guifeng Mountain Park, with the main peak of Dabie Mountain. There are three parks in the park, including Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area, Duitian River Scenic Area, Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area, Jiulong Mountain Scenic Area, Tiantangxiang Scenic Area, Bodaofeng Scenic Area, Qingtaiguan Scenic Area, Tiantanghu Scenic Area, and Wujia Mountain Scenic Area.

Guifengshan Park is located in Macheng City, with a planned area of 140.86km ², and is an important component of the Dabie Mountains Global Geopark. The terrain here is unique, and the peak forming rock masses are complex. They were gradually uplifted during multiple tectonic movements and formed under long-term weathering, collapse, and geostress.
