From April 26th to 29th, the 2025 Hubei Province Tourist Scenic Area Quality Improvement and Empowerment Exchange Activity was grandly held at The Three Kingdoms Red Cliffs Ancient Battlefield Scenic Area in Xianning. This event is hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hubei Province, aiming to implement the spirit of the provincial conference on cultural and tourism development and promote the high-quality development of tourist attractions. Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area, as a representative of the newly promoted national 5A-level tourist attractions, was invited to attend and discuss development with industry peers.
The event is rich and diverse in content, including the premiere of the live-action performance "2025 Chibi Takes Advantage of the East Wind", the display and exchange of scenic area quality improvement and empowerment, talent matching, product matching, financial matching and other exciting sections. Special arrangements have been made for the observation of industrial projects integrating agriculture, industry, commerce, culture and tourism, as well as on-site visits to distinctive projects such as the Yangloudong Tea Culture Ecological Industrial Park. Representatives from Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area participated throughout the process, absorbing advanced experience through exchanges and injecting new impetus into the future development of the scenic area.
Lu Yingjin, the Party Secretary and Chairman of Hubei Communications Investment Dabie Mountain Company, delivered a wonderful speech at the exchange meeting. Under the title of "Government-Enterprise Collaboration Plays a Grand Drama, Integration of Transportation and Tourism Writes a New Chapter", he elaborated on the eight-year journey of Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area in striving for a 5A status. He focused on sharing the three core experiences of "government-enterprise unity, state-owned enterprise empowerment, and enterprise-local co-construction", and emphasized: "The success of 5A creation is the result of the joint efforts of the government, enterprises, and the public." In the future, we will continue to make good use of this "golden brand" and contribute more to the high-quality development of culture and tourism in Hubei! The speech was highly recognized by the attending guests.
At the event site, Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area showcased the "Guanshi Rhododendron" brand IP, smart tourism system and seasonal characteristic tourism products to the attending guests through elaborately arranged exhibition stands. The staff of the scenic area highlighted the all-season tourism product system featuring "flower viewing in spring, summer retreat, leisure in autumn and snow playing in winter", as well as cultural and creative products such as "Stone Turtle Boy" and "Rhododendron Girl", fully demonstrating the scenic area's splendid transformation from "ecological appearance level" to "cultural and tourism value".
This exchange activity provided a valuable platform for display and learning for the Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area.
