The Baishou Terrace (formerly known as the Observation Deck) is an excellent location for up close viewing of the spectacular turtle head scenery. Every morning, the spectacle of "rising sun at Guifeng" can be seen here: the rising sun rises to the east, thousands of golden lights flow like waves, clouds and clouds are colorful, and the scene is magnificent and extraordinary. The "Magical Turtle Peak" facing the Baishou Terrace is an iconic landscape of Guifeng Mountain, with an altitude of 1260 meters and a vertical height difference of over 300 meters. It resembles a giant turtle and is known as the "number one turtle in the world". It was formed during the Yanshan Movement 160 million years ago, as a granite wonder formed by the subduction of the North China Plate into the oceanic plate and the joint formation of three sets of joints and spherical weathering. It can be regarded as a miracle in the history of world geology and has also established Guifeng Mountain as the core area of the Dabie Mountains Global Geopark. The Science Popularization Museum of the World Geopark, located in the Life Worship Terrace, is the essence of this "natural geology textbook". The museum system displays basic geological knowledge and rare mineral specimens, which together with the mountain itself form an ecological grand garden that integrates scientific research, education, and sightseeing.
