       According to legend, this tree was personally planted by Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin. It has a tree age of over 1400 years, a height of 20 meters, a diameter of 2 meters, and a crown diameter covering an area of 60 square meters. In spring and summer, lush branches and leaves cover the face with thick shade; The autumn and winter leaves are as yellow as gold, with abundant fruits. It is the oldest of the more than 20 thousand year old ginkgo trees still standing on Guifeng Mountain and is known as the king of Chinese ginkgo trees.
