According to legend, Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, traveled to Guifeng Mountain and was struck by the spiritual energy of this place. At dusk, he once rested on a giant rock in the mountain and praised it, saying, "Lying on Guifeng Mountain, the giant rock surpasses the dragon bed." This stone was named "Dragon Bed Stone. Emperor Taizong also drew a chessboard next to the stone and played against accompanying ministers, leaving behind the remains of the "Chessboard Stone". To commemorate this beautiful story, later generations built the "Blessing Pavilion" here, symbolizing that visiting this place can bring spiritual energy from the mountains and waters, prolong life, and add a cultural landscape that combines historical legends and auspicious meanings to Guifeng Mountain.
