Announcement of Ropeway Maintenance and Shutdown

Dear tourists and friends

To ensure the safe operation of the passenger ropeway, equipment maintenance and repair work will be carried out on the cableway in Guifengshan Scenic Area starting from September 18, 2023 (today). During the equipment maintenance period, the cableway will be suspended from operation, and the resumption time will be notified separately.

Take the Mawu Red Road and enjoy a discounted travel itinerary

From May 11 to December 31, 2023, with toll receipts from 8 toll stations (Hong'an, Hong'an Chengguan, Taohua, Tiemen West, Yongjia River, Macheng East, Guifengshan, and Muzidian) around the Mawu section of the Shanghai Chengdu Expressway (ETC vehicles need to collect their pass vouchers at the manual toll window), scenic area tickets will be exempted (each voucher is limited to 1 ticket).

Pursuing the Red Footprint and Inheriting the Red Spirit

Starting from July 1, 2023, retired soldiers and the families of martyrs, those who sacrificed their lives on duty, those who died of illness, and other beneficiaries of preferential treatment will be exempt from the first major admission ticket in the scenic area.
