In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the "100 red commentators talk about the history of the party" propaganda and red tourism commentator competition sponsored by the Department of culture and tourism of Hubei Province was officially launched recently. After a lot of selection, Guan Xiaole, a commentator selected by Guifeng mountain scenic spot in Macheng, was selected to participate in the final selection.

From June 6 to June 8, under the leadership of Macheng culture and Tourism Bureau, Guan Xiaole, the commentator of Guifeng mountain scenic spot, went to Wuhan to participate in the "100 red commentators talking about the history of the party" propaganda and red tourism commentator competition. In the competition, Guan Xiaole's wonderful performance and emotional explanation reappeared the heroic deeds of Wang Shusheng, a great general, and Li shuoxun, a martyr.

General Wang Shusheng was born in Chengmagang, Macheng City. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1926 and took part in the jute uprising and the 25000 Li Long March. He made outstanding achievements in the war and was honored as "General Hu Dan". He was awarded the rank of general in 1955.

Macheng is a red hot land and the birthplace of jute uprising. Two main Communist forces, the Fourth Army and the 28th army of the Red Army, were born. Two representatives of the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China, including Dong Biwu and Chen Tanqiu, and 28 General of the Republic, including Wang Shusheng, Chen zaidao and Xu Shiyou, came out. 140000 people died bravely in the revolution, and one out of every ten Red Army martyrs was Macheng. Today's peaceful and prosperous times, the mountains and rivers are intact, is the dawn of countless revolutionary martyrs in the dark with blood and sweat, their deeds deserve to be remembered and praised forever.

As a patriotic education base in Huanggang City and one of the first national defense education bases in Macheng City, Guifeng mountain scenic spot has been deeply excavating Red Resources in recent years. In order to inherit the red culture and enrich the red tourism products, a new Dabie Mountain Spirit red culture exhibition hall is built.

The exhibition hall is located in the north gate of the scenic area. The exhibition hall is divided into two floors. The first floor is the red culture exhibition area in the Dabie Mountains area, and the second floor is the red tourism resources exhibition area. According to the time axis, the exhibition hall reproduces the revolutionary events, heroic deeds and historical stories that took place in the Dabie Mountains, especially in Macheng and its surrounding areas, from the founding of the Communist Party of China in 1921 to the founding of new China in 1949.

Now, Guifeng mountain scenic area has the ability to receive various types of Party building and League building activities with multiple schedules and routes.
