Guifeng Mountain is composed of nine peaks, such as turtle head, majestic turtle back and vivid turtle tail. The highest peak of Guifeng Mountain is 1320 meters above sea level, which is one of the main peaks of Dabie Mountain. From head to tail, it is 16 kilometers long, 7 kilometers wide and more than 100 kilometers square.

Guifeng Mountain is named for its resemblance to a turtle with a head held high and asked for the sky. Many tourists come to visit the turtle head, but they haven't found a good angle to appreciate the turtle head. There is an excellent place to see turtle heads in the scenic area, that is, Shoutai.

Shoutai: Formerly known as the viewing platform, this is the best place to watch the turtle head at close range. You can see the magnificent style of the turtle head when you look up.

Magic Turtle Peak is a natural treasure endowed by nature to human beings, and also a unique landmark landscape of the scenic spot. It is formed by a huge bare granite. It is handsome, tall and magnificent.

According to geological experts, as early as 160 million years ago during the Yanshan movement, the subduction of the North China plate to the oceanic plate caused the crust to rise and form today's Guifeng Mountain. It is a granite landform formed by three groups of joints and spherical weathering. It can be called the world's geological miracle and is known as "the first turtle in the world".

Every day the sky rises with the rising sun, which is like the golden light and colourful waves of water. It is the magical landscape of the "tortoise peak sunrise" and becomes the first of three sets and eight sceneries in Macheng. Li Shimin, Taizong of Tang Dynasty, once wrote in a poem that Qiankun had a miracle in creating a beautiful place. The trace of the horse should be on the stone, and the head of the turtle should be cut across the white clouds.
