Zhou Jiamu, originally named Cheng Daiying, was born in 1894 in a poor farmer's home in Zhangdian, Shunhe West, Macheng City. When she was fifteen or sixteen years old, she met Wang Liangxi, a young man from Henan Province. Wang Liangxi was an underground worker in Henan Soviet Union at that time. In the name of selling tofu, he went to Xizhangdian to mobilize the masses in series and develop Soviet organizations. Through leading lines, Zhou Dynasty Ying married Wang Liangxi and settled down in the North Street of Xizhangdian. After the marriage of Zhou Dynasty Ying and Wang Liangxi, Zhou Dynasty Ying was called Zhou Jiamu in the surrounding areas. She had three sons, the eldest son was Wang Zhengdao, the second son was Wang Zhenghuan, and the third son was Wang Zhengyue. Later, they adopted an orphan named Wang Zhengqi. Influenced by her husband's revolutionary thought, Zhou Dynasty Ying gradually embarked on the revolutionary road.

At that time, China was in deep water. Like countless people with lofty ideals, Zhou Jiamu's husband also devoted himself to the vigorous revolution. In 1927, Wang Liangxi, then chairman of the Rural Soviet Union, died. Her husband's sacrifice did not shake Zhou Jiamu's revolutionary confidence. Her family still existed as the foothold of the Red Army and the Liaison Office of cadres. Zhou Jiamu often boils water, washes clothes and pulls household chores for small Red Army soldiers. These small Red Army soldiers also kindly call Zhou Jiamu "Ganniang".

Late one night in May 1928, Wang Shusheng was chased by the enemy in Xizhangdian Village. Zhou Jiamu immediately hid him in his home. The enemies who had not caught people for half a day were so angry that they gathered the men, women and children of Xizhangdian and threatened to turn Xizhangdian into an empty village if they did not give up Wang Shusheng. At a critical moment, Zhou Jiamu stood up and said, "Wang Shusheng is in my house." Dozens of white dogs with guns followed her home. Zhou Jiamu said, "Wang Shusheng has two guns. You hide at the door. I'll coax him out." The enemy believed it. After Zhou Jiamu entered the house, he told Wang Shusheng to hide it. Then he pulled out Wang Zhengdao, his eldest son, who was hiding with Wang Shusheng, and gave it to the enemy to take away. The next day, the enemy executed Wang Shusheng on the nearby river beach.

Knowing the news of his son's death, Zhou Jiamu was so sad that he grew old all of a sudden. Later, Zhou Jiamu's second son was killed in 1929 in an enemy "Qingxiang". His third and fourth sons joined the Red Army. During the long march, one died in Gansu and the other in Sichuan. So far, Zhou Jiamu sacrificed five relatives for the revolution. When Wang Shusheng returned to Macheng, he finally found the "Red Army Mother" after many inquiries. He walked more than ten miles to visit Zhou Jiamu. He also said to Zhou Jiamu, "Niang, I am a national actor (nickname), Shusheng! It's your parents, it's your right way, I support you! "

In Zhou Jiamu's later years, Wang Shusheng sent money and gifts to her home many times. He also entrusted Major General Feng Renen and Major General Gao Zhirong to visit her home several times. He also asked local governments and civil affairs departments to take good care of the life of the "Red Army mother". In September 1956, Zhou Jiamu died of illness at the age of 62.

National independence and people's liberation are the lofty mission of the Communists in the revolutionary period. Such a mission is deeply engraved with the word "people". It is precisely because of the unselfish support of tens of millions of Zhou Jiamu that the Communists can go through all the hardships and accomplish their mission.
