After seven days of flood prevention and comprehensive inspection and rectification, Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area officially resumed opening on June 25th. During this flood season, the vast number of Party members and cadres in the scenic area responded promptly to the flood situation, followed orders, strived to take the lead, and shouldered their responsibilities. They quickly rushed to the front line of flood control, inspected and dredged, unblocked drainage, and reinforced fences. With their actions, they interpreted their original aspirations and built a solid "red defense line", achieving the goal of "zero casualties and zero accidents".

Act quickly to control floods, with command taking the lead. To solidly carry out the safety production work during the flood season and ensure the safety of the lives and property of the people in Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area and its surrounding areas, the emergency response plan was promptly activated. A special task force for flood control was established, and a mechanism of "leadership team responsible for specific areas and cadres stationed at key points" was implemented. Key nodes were on 24-hour duty, and a thorough inspection was conducted on four geological disaster hazard points within the scenic area.

"The rainstorm won't stop, but we won't retreat!" On the night of June 20th, some sections of the scenic area suddenly encountered dangerous situations. Due to heavy rain, fallen trees blocked the main road. More than ten Party member emergency response team members braved the torrential rain to clear the road, working continuously for four hours to ensure smooth traffic. Comrade Zhan Yaogang, an old Party member, took the lead in going to the front line: "As a Party member, I should stand before the masses to solve problems!" According to statistics, since the flood season began, the scenic area has formed 6 emergency rescue teams, handling a total of 16 dangerous situations and repairing 3 kilometers of damaged roads. The bright red Party flag has always been flying at the forefront of flood control.

In this race against time, every position is a crucial link, jointly safeguarding the safety bottom line of "zero casualties" in the scenic area. The flood control task force monitors the rainfall situation 24 hours a day and issues over 100 early warning messages. The traffic coordination team implemented dynamic control and safely evacuated over 50 vehicles. On the chain of flood control responsibility, every position shines brightly. Huang Mingzhou, a cleaner, has been clearing fallen trees for three consecutive days, joking that "the broom has been worn short by a section." Security guard Xia Fulin walks 20 kilometers every day to clear the clogged drainage ditches, and his hands are soaked until they turn white. The cafeteria aunts voluntarily formed a "cooking team" and cooked ginger soup for the flood control task force every day. It is precisely the persistence of each individual in taking responsibility for their territory that makes the "chain of responsibility" for flood control unbreakable.
