The brand-new cableway in Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area was officially inspected and accepted by the National Cable Inspection Center on April 11, 2025, and began trial operation. On April 21, it successfully obtained the special Equipment Use registration certificate, marking a new step forward in the service quality of the scenic area and officially launching a brand-new 5A tour experience.

The new ropeway line has a horizontal length of 1,886.9 meters and a vertical height of 562 meters. Along the line, eight supports (including one three-tower support) stand like giants, firmly supporting the cable cars shuttling through. Its designed capacity reaches 2,400 people per hour, a significant increase compared to the old ropeways. It has completely solved the problems of insufficient capacity, safety hazards and poor tourist experience of the previous ropeways, making tourists' mountain climbing journey faster and more comfortable. By taking the new cableway, tourists can overlook the magnificent scenery of Guifeng Mountain from a high altitude and experience the grandeur and beauty of the landscapes of Jingchu.
