The brand new Guifeng Mountain is fun all year round. On November 25th, Hubei Jiaotou Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area held the "Hanging Pot · Mountaineering Festival" activity. More than 1000 tourists signed up online, brought their relatives and friends to come to Guifeng Mountain to enjoy the scenery and taste local fine wine and food.
This is a gratifying achievement made by Hubei Jiaotou Dabie Mountain Company since the beginning of this year, which has innovated its business ideas, enriched its tourism varieties, and transformed its scenic area management from a "one season trip" to a "year-round trip" throughout the four seasons.
At 6 o'clock in the morning, more than 20 hiking enthusiasts couldn't hold back their emotions and walked up the mountain to watch the famous sunrise scene of Mount Gui; At 9am, with a command, the competition to climb Guifeng Mountain officially began. Tourists from Wuhan, Huanggang, Anhui Jinzhai and other places participated in the activity, enjoying the autumn scenery along the way. The beautiful peaks and lush pine trees beside them can be described as a step by step scenery; At noon, the scorching sun shone brightly, and more than 30 fitness dance teams from the surrounding area took to the stage to perform. The already prepared over 100 hot pot hanging banquet pushed the event to its climax.
"Today, tourists from the scenic area came to Guifeng Mountain with their families to enjoy delicious hanging pots, drink rich old rice wine, and watch exciting programs. It was truly a worthwhile trip!" sighed Mr. Wang, a tourist from Wuhan.
According to the staff of the scenic area, the table, pot, and stove of today's hanging pot banquet are all round, symbolizing "round and round"; The charcoal fire in the stove symbolizes "red fire"; The hanging pot can be lifted and lowered freely on a hardwood hook, adjusting the firepower, and can be described as "rising step by step".
"Hubei Jiaotou Group has set up a platform to sing opera in the scenic area, and every month, it has promoted cultural and tourism brands, ignited tourism in Macheng, enriched cultural life, and enriched the surrounding residents." Bao Yanshan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Guifengshan Scenic Area Management Office in Macheng City, told reporters.

From May 11 to December 31, 2023, with toll receipts from 8 toll stations (Hong'an, Hong'an Chengguan, Taohua, Tiemenxi, Yongjiahe, Macheng East, Guifengshan, and Muzidian) around the Mawu section of the Shanghai Chengdu Expressway (ETC vehicles need to collect their pass vouchers at the manual toll window), scenic area tickets will be waived (each voucher is limited to 1 ticket).

Starting from July 1, 2023, retired soldiers and the families of martyrs, those who sacrificed their lives on duty, and those who died of illness will receive preferential treatment from other beneficiaries. Holders will be exempt from the first major entrance ticket to the scenic area.
